Honey Baked Ham


°2 liters whole milk
°1 onion
°1 clove garlic, peeled and split
°1 cube of ginger
°2g, allspice, whole berries
°10 black peppercorns, whole
°2-3 sprigs of fresh thyme
°1 ham from 3.5 to 4.5 kg
°1 whole green cardamom pod
°1 stick of butter
°180g honey
°30ml Worcestershire sauce
°15ml cider vinegar
°10.5g Dijon mustard
°2.5g white pepper
°1 large pinch of cloves, ground

*How to Make Honey Glazed Ham

Take a large pot and pour the milk. Adding onion, garlic, ginger, allspice, peppercorns, thyme & ham. Cook over medium-low heat, stirring, until milk comes to a simmer. Do not boil. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for a few hours. Carefully turn the ham from time to time. Using meat thermometer to check temperature at 71°C in thickest part.
